I had always heard coyotes referred to as “tricksters,” but wasn’t convinced until this. Coyotes are too small for taking down bison. Even a pack with have trouble with a bison calf, yet this lone song dog passed right through the herd, behaving as if he/she were on the hunt. Yellowstone National Park, WY.
